My MAIN OBJECTIVE

is to help people make the

BEST POSSIBLE DEAL

in their real estate transaction.

In doing so I am committed to providing

professional, caring, efficient assistance

to make the transaction

smooth and trouble-free!

A little of my background:

Education and Business

I first started in the real estate business in 1985, after completing my Bachelor of Arts Degree (B.A. Special – Urban Geography and Planning). I studied at Concordia College and the University of Alberta. I practiced as a REALTOR for 10 years, then ventured out to try a few other things, finding my way into the world of seniors housing and assisted living. I worked for The Good Samaritan Society and Christenson Communities developing housing and care projects, and managing assisted living.

While I’ve had terrific opportunities to work in both development and operations in the seniors housing and care environments, my passion is to help people through the processes of buying and selling property. When I was away from the real estate business I missed it very much. After 17 years away, I once again became a licenced REALTOR.  Now, more than when I was a REALTOR in the 1980’s, I am focused on working with seniors/retirees, and with developers of properties for seniors housing and care.

I draw upon my project development experiences when working on transactions of any magnitude. My experience with seniors housing and assisted living is a great asset as I help seniors and their families work out their transition plans.

Personal

My wife Maureen and I have known each other since high school. We attended McNally Composite here in Edmonton. We were married in 1987. We have four adult children.  We all enjoy the company of three active dogs.

I love to play men’s hockey regularly , and ride my mountain bike from time to time. Maureen and I play mixed curling and pickleball.  When I get the chance I like to snow ski, water ski, and surf.  Also, I  like to think I am a bit of a handyman.
